Read Aloud Audio Site

Book Mark This Site For FUTURE Audio’s. Free weekly downloads.

Site Note: Starting this week, I am posting on my blog eddingshill.com some stories that my husband Robert recorded several years ago in a project he called “You Need a Story.” They are there free for you to use as part of your literature assignments, to listen to in the car — or just to keep the kids still for awhile. You can listen to them from your computer or download them to your device — however you want to use them, just enjoy them with our blessings.

Each week a new one will be posted, and the list will include such classics as

“The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calavaras County,” by Mark Twain (I love Robert’s characterization of garrulous old Simon Wheeler in this story)
“The Story of Keesh,” by Jack London
“Captain Scarfield,” from The Book of Pirates, by Howard Pyle
“The Tailor of Gloucester,” by Beatrix Potter . . .
